ABOUT
GIGLIOART is an international advisory firm headquartered in London, specializing in modern and contemporary art. We support private collectors, family offices, and institutional investors in the strategy, growth, and management of major collections, offering independent, conflict-free advice, museum-level standards, and rigorous AML/KYC compliance.
We operate end-to-end: defining collection strategies and curatorial frameworks; managing on-market and off-market acquisitions and private sales; conducting provenance research, due diligence, valuations, and responsible deaccessioning. We oversee condition assessments, conservation, and long-term collection care; arrange institutional loans and museum placements; and design, produce, and deliver both public and private - institutional and corporate - exhibitions, from concept development and curatorial vision through production, loan management, and communications.
We manage established collections through governance and active management programs: audits and inventories, cataloguing and digitalization, policies and procedures, insurance and loan administration, exhibition rotation planning and conservation upkeep, consolidation and selective deaccession, periodic reporting to committees and boards, as well as intergenerational succession planning.
In the structured finance space, we design and execute art-backed credit solutions: collateralized lending facilities, co-investment and acquisition vehicles (SPVs), credit underwriting, and ongoing risk monitoring (covenants, LTV, liquidity stress tests), including syndicated structures with private banks, private credit funds, and insurers. We provide independent valuations and fairness opinions to support extraordinary transactions, alongside escrow & settlement services, cashflow optimization, and governance reporting tailored to family offices and institutions.
